Abstract


The purpose of this study was to investigate the present condition and attitude of oral health care for mother of kindergarten children in Changwon area. 1. Oral administration situation of infants were right to know and practice the method and frequency of brushing with toothpaste usage and monthly income had appeared that the practice of oral care from birth mothers have more than four million won, that first time visitors is 25-36 months The most frequent response was to visit the dental clinic a little later, and the mothers who had oral education experience showed that their children visited the dentist earlier. 2. The period of the dental check-up of the child was the most with the response of 6 months (59.1%), followed by the 3 months (20.8%) and the dental visit was active. The age of the 30s was shorter than that of the 40s. According to education, the high school graduates had shorter dental examinations than the college graduates and college graduates, and the monthly income less than 3 million won was shorter than the 3 million won . 3. Mother's oral health knowledge of infants was 3.91 points out of 5, and knowledge of oral health of children was higher with higher education level. 4. Mothers' attitude toward oral health was 2.98, indicating that mothers were very active for their children's oral health, considering that 4 points were perfect. There was no difference according to the general condition, and mother 's attitude toward oral health showed positive regardless of oral education experience and demographic variables.
